Heavens Gate

Up there above the windy sky
a million miles or more
is a world where every soul is sent
in thru a narrow door

They are counted as they enter
and entered on a roll
to ensure that they have made it
every single soul

Then one by one they are asked
where they would like to be
in the land of milk and honey
by a crystal clear blue sea

And so forever they are rested
no fear or pain to bear
just peace and pure tranquility
where home is anywhere

forever in gods bosom
they have done their worldly deed
and now with family and friends
form part of heavens breed

And as angels spread their wings
and the heavenly choir begins
our souls are cleansed forever
of all our earthly sins
