Grumpy old man

Grumpy Old Man, no such thing

He gave you his Love and a wedding ring

Grumpy Old Man, he was like a Lad

He was the one that you called Dad

Grumpy Old Man, whose life you Share

He’s like that because of Love and Care

Grumpy Old Man, as he reads the news

He’s so appalled at these modern views

Grumpy Old Man, he may appear

He’s proud of you and loves you dear

Grumpy Old Man in later life

So Lucky really that you’re his wife

Forget the stories that you’ve been told

There May be great satisfaction,

In being Grumpy and Old
