Graduating Steps

To walk before one runs, applies thro’ time
By taking stock of all such choices made
Initial plunge may prove less mountain climb;
More treading water, as in plans hath stay’d
Then inspiration calls to lift thine heart
For betterment of self, in years ahead
Encouragement allows for brand new start
Uplifting, yet ‘twas all that needed said
Now armed with tools the future holds no fear
As world of oysters yield their precious pearls
Preparedness helps reach beyond frontier
Deserving henceforth, e’er what fate unfurls
All doff their hats in paying due accord
Whilst witnessing yon toss of mortar board
