And commit them continually to word
Subjecting the many to endless receipts
Of opinions that have to be heard.

Whilst I’m sure that your mission is worthy
Against those whom you might not agree
These mails that you type, that argue and snipe
Are not something that I need to see.

So I commend you for thinking me worthy
Of hearing some ‘more’ of your news
But I’m sorry to have to inform you
That it’s rare I agree with your views.

It is not my intent to prevent you
From your right to Freedom of Speech
I just ask that you cease to ‘copy’ me in
To that world you’re determined to reach.
