Children lost parents and parents lost children
Let’s put them together; we may even see
That through their shared grief and support for each other
They’ll start to rebuild their community.

If orphans are taken away in their grief
And bereft adults are all left behind,
The meddling do-gooder will just be a thief
From an act of compassion, unwelcome, unkind.
