Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment

With military skills and achievements
From the regiments of Kings, Lancashire and Border
Their Colonel in Chief, Her Majesty the Queen
Heads up this new Infantry order

From historic roots of centuries ago
Three regiments uniquely renowned
Soldier saints are now merged as one
The Duke of Lancaster’s stand proud

Upholding their knightly values
Hailed from St George himself
Courageous when facing adversity
Steadfastness their greatest of wealth

They fight with such strength and fortitude
Their honour cannot be compared
These soldiers will face the dangers
That many would never have dared

Be they on home grown soil
Or in far off lands
They’ll live up to their motto
“Difficulties be Damned”

By keeping their faith and charity
These values they honour so true
Duke of Lancaster’s soldiers
Are heroes through and through
