Dearest Friend

I need your help you’re on your way
Whatever the problem I don’t have to say
You don’t need details to give your support
You stand squarely beside me as strong as a fort
You feed the body you are always cooking
But into my mind I know you are looking
Eat then we’ll fix it nothing can be that bad
I talk and you listen then I don’t feel sad
The road of friendship we have travelled
Together the hurdles we have unravelled
If there is one on whom I can always depend
Then surely that one is you my dearest friend
