CIRCLE OF LIFE

My shoes are worn, they leak the rain
My arse is hanging out
The jibes, the spite, the stinging names
All combine to set the stage
Know your place, don´t speak of joy
Find another path in life

Run away, be a man
Deny your past, don´t let them see
Where you´re from, it doesn´t matter
Endure the pain to show your strength
Break you down, to build you up
Moulded, formed and fashioned

All alike, both hated and revered
Remember those who´ve gone before
Train hard, fight easy, esprit de corps
We need you now, but not tomorrow
A final ticket home
The memory fades, the band is stilled

My shoes are worn, they leak the rain
My arse is hanging out
The jibes, the spite, the stinging names
All combine to set the stage
Know your place, don´t speak of joy
Find another path in life
