Cats Eyes

Thinking of a cats and the things that comes to mind
Are those things set in rubber in a country lane
In an effort to Indicate the white line
On the darkest of nights so I’ll do my best to explain
How a very bright individual set his mind to work
And pondered how the situation he could improve
To make motorists aware of their position in the road at night
And enable them to drive a course so smooth
Then driving home one night his headlight beam caught a cat
Walking towards him and it’s eyes lit up like beacons ahead
Just think what might have happened if the cat had walked the other way
Then he may have invented a pencil sharpener instead
