For a while, I have written no verse, not even just one line
I have been pre-occupied, and have just not had the time
My wife and I, just moved home, we’ve been busy, day and night
So, with moving, and going off to work, I’ve had no time to write
We moved home over Christmas, there was far too much to do
And as if that was not enough to bear, I also had, ‘Man Flu’
But, we are almost sorted now, so I have a little more time I find
To once again, set pen to page, and put down some words in rhyme
