BUS STATION TANNOY

As I walked along,
I heard a voice loud and strong,
“Oh shut up, how stupid!”
“It cannot hear you” I said, “It’s a machine.”
“Am I living in a dream?, Is this surreal?”
“You are real, I said, and so am I.”

Unneccessary clutter!”I heard him mutter,
A world full of zombies sedated and calm.
Who is behind it all?
To fear is to fall.
Try not to think, we’re all on the brink,
We’re not meant to know, so don’t let it show!.

Think of the knights in days of old,
Put on your armour and hold up your head,
All will be clear before you are dead.

A moment in time is all we are,
We’re not meant to understand,
The joker deals the hand!
