A cocky little bird who’s always heard,
His song is loud and oh so proud,
Sitting in my tree for the world to see.
Calling for a mate, with whom to share,
His life of love if she will dare!
He woos her while the snow is here,
The March winds blow, and they build their nest,
To them it is a lifelong quest.
Listening to him sing his song of love,
My heart just soars to the bright above.
