Absent Of Hope

Well here I am again, in the place I know so well,
it’s quiet, dark and without warmth.
To some it’s hard to find, to me it’s second nature.
I thought that it was far away,
but here I am, back in despair, on this a very sad day.

Gather up your baggage, your memories and your hope,
come upstairs you’re staying in,
the room renamed ” I cannot cope”

You said you’d never stay here,
You’ve said it all before.
Many a tear is shed, behind the cold closed door.

Emotions are booming, tears are flowing fast,
all because your mind is stuck,
in a dark traumatic past.
