A Tiny Seed of Love Was Sown

Within thy Father’s mind a seed doth take
As winter’s frozen rain in powdered form
Alights upon the ground as sculptured flake
To lie like many others, chilled not warm
Supplanted thoughts of youth now came to pass
When oft’ he played with Pater until dark
Such happy times in white o’er green of grass
Fond memory perchance did light the spark
Midst frostbite frenzy, ‘Mr Snow’ appears
A Daughter’s gaze in wonderment is held
Her eyes transfixed ‘neath joyful flowing tears
Through joining in, the bond betwixt doth meld
In nurturing of hearts ‘til now full grown
Cold season holds remembrance all its own
