life isnt a game
in which we play
this is what my sergent use to say
but then he came round and told me one day
that i will be out there by the end of may
ill be out in pressure
in hot contacts too
but he said ….
just get the boys through
when we got back
the crowed shed a tear
they all knew we lost some one dear
he was my sergent
he was a great man
it wasnt fair he got killed in iran
we all make mistakes
his wife said to me
she fell to the ground
and sobbed child number 3
i told my young lad life isnt game
he said dad ..that sergent was the same
