The willow weeps its sad refrain
For all whose lives were lived in vain.
If I were one, then, so be it-
It matters not to me one whit.
Untouched by anger, pride, or fear
No unkind word I’ll ever hear
Content to have lived, content to die
Within this ground, at peace, I lie…
