‘A Childs Dream’

Deep in forest, with magic springs
Hear the sound of gossamer wings
Then shadows flit across the sky
Was that a fairy flying by?

See that bright light in deep dark cave
Those in there, must really be brave!
Sparkles so sweet; catches your eyes
Its the twinkling light of fireflies!

Hark to the sounds from deep of earth!
Is it goblins, laughing with mirth?
Or an elfin group, as they pray
Giving thanks for such a nice day.

Summer sun, helps flowers to grow
Slip- slop rains give forest a glow
Then goldfish, leap high in the streams
Suddenly! I wake from my dreams.
